During Summer 2013 Disney’s Palm Golf Course was completely redesigned by Arnold Palmer Design Company. The extensive work included building entirely new green complexes, newly shaped tees, and a completely new bunker design that has modernized this historic golf course. The changes are significant and we’re very excited about the renovations of this great golf course.
This 18-hole championship course features shimmering lakes, tropical sands, palm trees and sloping greens. Disney’s Palm Golf Course is rated 4 stars by Golf Digest and includes 9 holes with water hazards and 59 bunkers—providing plenty of challenges for novices and seasoned pros alike.
Rental equipment is available at each of our golf courses so you don’t have to lug your clubs along on your trip! This also provides a perfect opportunity to “test drive” a different brand. The latest equipment from TaylorMade Golf is available in both Men’s and Women’s models, as well as Adidas golf shoes, for those who choose to travel light. In addition, Junior US Kids Golf rental equipment is provided complimentary!
Pro Shop and Rentals
Disney’s Magnolia, Palm, and Oak Trail Pro Shop features a wide selection of golf merchandise and rentals. Take home such souvenirs as caps, logo shirts, clubs and towels. This location is one of 2 pro shops that serve golfers throughout Walt Disney World® resort.
Premium rental clubs are available for men and women in both right- and left-handed models, and junior clubs are on hand, too. Rental golf shoes are also available, and neither rental shoes nor clubs need to be reserved in advance.
We ask that each Guest has his or her own bag and clubs to help keep up the pace of play on our courses. We do offer loaner golf bags at no charge for Guests who condense their clubs and leave their bulky bags at home for travel.
Storing Golf Clubs
Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses can store your clubs and transfer them from one Disney golf course to another Disney course at the beginning of each day. The fee for overnight bag storage is $5.00 per bag per night.
Clubhouse
The Clubhouse features men’s and women’s locker rooms and showers for golfers looking to freshen up. While there, visit the Champions Room, where elegant plaques are displayed that honor every winner of the PGA Tour’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic.
There is no fee to use Clubhouse lockers, and keys are available from the Pro Shop.
Complimentary transportation via taxi is available to Guests of select Walt Disney World® resort hotels. You may request a ride at the Valet Desk or from Bell Services at select Resort hotels, and in the Pro Shop or from any golf operations staff members at the golf courses. Guests are advised to check with Guest Services or the Concierge for any transportation options offered by their hotel.
Golf Day Guests who wish to arrange their own transportation to the golf courses will find that there is no charge for parking at the golf course itself or when going through the Auto Plaza on the way to the golf courses.
