Starting from a blank 7×14′ trailer, Tim and his friends custom built Caffe Bellezza, a coffee truck that some have said is “the most beautiful truck I have ever seen!” The counters are handmade from a black walnut tree found on Tim’s Grandfather’s farm in Charlotte, NC, the espresso machine sits on top of an upcycled church door found at Scrap Exchange, and all work was performed by family and friends. On Thanksgiving Day, 2013, Caffe Bellezza sold it’s first cup of mobile coffee to some thirsty runners and supporters at a Thanksgiving 5K run. You can find them catering for weddings, special events, Food Truck Rodeos, and at the Durham Farmer’s Market in Central Park every Saturday.Tim has been involved with the Specialty Coffee Industry since 2005. Nothing makes him happier than making new friends by serving them delicious coffee! He is Barista Level 1, and Coffee Roaster certified with the SCA and lives in Durham, NC.
