I opened proVelo after spending 22 years in the bicycle industry as a salesperson, inventory manager, shop manager, and 14 of those years as a sales representative for GT, Raleigh, and Diamondback Bicycles. In 2004 I left behind my life as a sales rep to be closer to my family and community with the intention of opening my own shop. After spending time managing other shops and leaving the industry for a year I realized how important cycling was to me and I wanted help others discover the passion for cycling that I have. So while it took a few years to execute I felt now was the right time for a shop like proVelo in Fort Collins and Northern Colorado. Working with over 100 different bike shops I have seen the best and the worst of what a bike shop can be and drawing from these experiences my goal is to deliver a bike shop experience that exceeds your expectations.
