When we found Koko, we saw that it was an amazing business, by a mission driven company, that could make a dramatic difference in peoples lives. It was then we knew it was time to leave our careers and start a new venture in the place we wanted to be.” “Koko is not your average gym and we are not the average franchise owner. Her corporate career included Marketing and Sales for Procter and Gamble. She later pursued her artistic passion of photography and owned and operated her own portrait studio for 12 years in Arizona, where she earned her degrees of Master and Craftsman Photographer from the Professional Photographers of America and was the President of the Arizona Professional Photographers Association for 2 years. A move to California for her husbands career left Wendy with two choices, rebuild her photography business or start a new chapter possibly with a franchise. In seeking out a personal fitness solution, Wendy came across Koko FitClub. Shortly after becoming members themselves, Wendy and Mike could see the potential to bring this uniquely differentiated product to their beloved college town of Fort Collins. A few short months later and a half dozen obstacles overcome, the Newman’s embarked on the launch of a Flagship Koko FitClub location in Fort Collins.
