If adventure, challenge, and beauty are what you seek in a golf course, look no further than Pelican Lakes Golf Club in Windsor, CO.
Pelican Lakes has it all – water, native wildlife, and an extremely challenging layout. There are over 300 surface acres of water at Pelican Lakes, most of it stemming from the Cache la Poudre River that snakes its way through the entire 7,264-yard course.
Not only does the Poudre River come into play on the majority of the holes, four man-made lakes surround the remaining perimeter of Pelican Lakes. Pelican Lakes has more shoreline than any other golf course in North America.
Pelican Lakes also boasts an incredible full-length executive 9-hole course known as “The Falls.” With gorgeous scenic views and challenging undulations, this 9 hole adventure creates a fun challenge for golfers of all skill level. The Falls culminates with the state’s only green that’s completely surrounded by water. The ninth hole island green can make-or-break every round.
I Played Pelican Lakes this weekend for an amazing scramble event, the course was in exceptional condition, the greens were perfect. I love the atmosphere at Pelican Lakes, everyone was super laid back and friendly and dedicated to creating a fun environment. I would highly recommend playing this track, one of the very best in Northern Colorado!

Pelican Lakes Golf Club is a scenic gem along the Poudre River with a fantastic layout. Although not the longest set of par 5’s and par 4’s, the par 3’s are all you can ask for. Add in the fun Falls 9 hole course and Pelican adds up to 27 holes of great golf. Highly recommended.

This is a great course. Layout is challenging, greens are usually fast and in great shape. Outstanding pro shop, restaurant, and bar. A better practice facility — chipping green and practice bunker — would make it world class!

Beautiful Course. Only suggestion it would be great if they sprayed for mosquitos so we could play later in the evenings during the summer. 😊
