Ohio State ATI proudly presents Hawk’s Nest Golf Course, a beautiful 18-hole, par 72 championship course that’s the favorite of golfers in the Creston-Wooster area. We’re also not far from Akron and Canton, and easy to reach near the junction of I-71 and I-76. On any given day golfers from all over Ohio will be here enjoying our beautiful conditions and fun to play golf course.
Why are conditions so consistently good? The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI) in Wooster has long had a reputation for one of the best turfgrass management programs in the country, with graduates working at country clubs and professional sports arenas all over the world to prove it. Having our own course is an excellent complement to the school’s internship program and provides the turfgrass, landscape, environmental sciences, and business students many more opportunities to gain real-world experience.
The course offers a great variety of holes with multiple tees that make the course fun for any golfer, and challenging for those looking to test their game. All of our bunkers were renovated in the last couple years, and others removed if they were not in play. We have an all-grass practice tee (what else?) with seven target greens, electric golf cars, and the best meatloaf sandwiches in golf.
