The Bells Hotel is one of the most popular resorts for golf breaks in Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean. Nestled in the heart of the spectacular Gloucestershire countryside, the Forest of Dean Golf Club was founded in 1973 and is known for its unique rolling parkland, beautiful lakes, bubbling streams and, of course, spectacular woodland. The 18 hole, par 69 golf course poses challenges for golfers of all skill levels and is an utter joy to play, thanks to its stunning panoramic views of the Forest of Dean countryside.
The hotel is adjacent to the first tee, allowing you to start early and get your game going almost immediately. We also have a chipping green, a putting green and a large practice ground for those who want to get some practice in. If you really want to take your golf skills to the next level, our resident professional golfer Stuart Jenkins is available for tips and tuition all year round. You can find him in our golf shop, which is also the place to book tee times, trolleys and golf buggies, or to purchase clothing and equipment from the top brands.
