Golf Beauport has been an enchanting site and has been constantly evolving for over 25 years now. Located in Beauport on rue St-David near highway 40, it opened its doors in 1983 with its mini-putt and its field of practice with 40 striking spaces.
The following year, Golf Beauport began building a 3-hole golf course. The marshy ground, however, made the task difficult and the work spanned a period of 3 years. The new site, a 9 hole par 27 par 1300 yard course is located at the back of the driving range.
In 1989, new projects were born. The field of practice is enlarged to the west and has 75 additional striking areas on natural grass. During this same year, the construction of a second golf course begins. This is located east of the par 3 course and has 9 holes including 5 par 4 and 4 par 3.
The opening of this course by 4 takes place in June 1992. With a length of 2100 yards and a normal 32, this course is accessible to all players: from beginners to the most experienced.
Subsequently, in 1999, the field of practice was relocated near the 2 courses, namely par 3 and par 4. To date, we can count there 26 striking spaces on synthetic carpet, 60 spaces on natural grass as well than a sand trap.
In 2005, after 22 years of existence, Golf Beauport built a chalet with bar, television, golf shop, covered terrace on the 2nd floor with views of the 2 golf courses and the driving range. Over the years, Golf Beauport has created a peaceful site where flowers, plants and shrubs are in abundance, right in the city center.
On October 20, 2013 after 30 years of existence, the field of practice closes these doors, we thank you for your encouragement from the start.
April 2015 golf beauport innovates by establishing FOOTGOLF on its par 3 course, a new sport that mixes soccer with golf.
