Silverado Golf and Country Club has been an integral part of west central Florida’s golf community for over 20 years. Playable yet challenging for all skill levels, Silverado is a par 71 course that for lower handicaps can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy tenth into a demanding par 4. Silverado’s championship layout is accented with many magnificent 100-year-old oaks that shade the clubhouse and fairways. Silverado is also home to a wide variety of Florida wildlife like Sandhill cranes, red-tail hawks, egrets, grey squirrels, ducks, geese and foxes.
Built in 1986 by Brantley E. Smith (Smith Cattle and Grove) and designed by Robert Simons, Silverado Golf and Country Club is nestled in the town of Zephyrhills. The area’s natural topography provides a beautiful landscape for the club and Florida’s warm climate ensures year around play. Four sets of tee boxes provide a challenge for players of all skill levels. Ranging from 6,671 for the seasoned player to 4,776 for higher handicappers, each player will find a unique challenge at Silverado.
In addition to a wonderful golf course, Silverado’s game improvement facilities are ample. All players are invited to work on their game with our full practice area which includes grass driving range, chipping and bunker areas and a 3,000 square foot practice putting green.
