A GOLF COURSE IS NOT JUST A SPORTS COURSE. IT IS ESPECIALLY A NATURAL SPACE THAT CONTRIBUTES TO THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT. THE RAWDON GOLF RESORT IS A GREEN, ECOLOGICAL GOLF, WHERE ALL RESIDUAL MATERIALS ARE RECYCLED OR COMPOSTED. DIFFERENT CONTAINERS ARE FINDED FOR RECYCLABLE MATERIALS, COMPOSTABLE MATERIALS AND WASTE.
Even the reception rooms follow the trend, the waste is all sorted there.
Not to mention that the Rawdon Golf Resort won the Phoenix Environment Prize in 2009 for its green initiatives.
The Greener Than Its Greens project is the result of 3 years of planning in order to significantly reduce any negative environmental impact resulting from the activities taking place at Rawdon Golf Resort, both inside the establishment (bar, kitchen and meeting rooms reception) than outside (golf course).
The main objectives of the project are to reduce the environmental impacts linked to the transport of supplies, the use of cleaning agents, pesticides and fungicides, the use of petrol golf carts as well as to reduce the quantity residual materials sent to landfill.
