Hominy Hill is the crown jewel of the Monmouth County Park System’s golf courses. This classic Robert Trent Jones design is often rated as New Jersey’s #1 public golf course. It has been named by NJ.com and Inside Jersey as one of New Jersey’s “10 Best Golf Courses for the Money.” It has been voted the Best Public Golf Course in the state by New Jersey Monthly magazine’s readers.
Hominy Hill has been the host of two USGA National Amateur Public Links championships and numerous regional championship tournaments. The course measures 7,049 yards from the blue tees and has USGA course and slope ratings of 73.8 and 135 from the blue tees. 138 bunkers are scattered throughout the course, with water coming into play at four holes.
