Moundsville Country Club (MCC) was originally built as a nine-hole course in 1940. The course was expanded during the 1960s and it is now regarded as one of the finest layouts in the Ohio Valley.
Legendary professional golfer Sam Snead, who won the West Virginia Open Tournament at MCC, considered our course among his favorites in WV. He noted that it was an ideal and fair course for amateurs that could even be set up to test him.
