Meadowbrook Golf Course boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in historic Lubbock, Texas. Situated in Yellow House Canyon, Meadowbrook features groves of majestic elm trees, flowing creeks and rolling terrain. Originally an 18 hole golf course when it was built by W. G. McMillan Sr. in the early nineteen thirties, it was later expanded to 27 holes. What is now known as the Canyon Course was called the “Meadowbrook” Course. The nine-hole course was once known as “Old Squirrel Hollow” and is now called the Creek Course, and has since expanded to a full 18 hole course.
