Welcome to Locust Valley Golf Club. Once a country club, this 18-hole course in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania features 6,716 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.2 and it has a slope rating of 133 on Rye grass. Designed by William F. Gordon, ASGCA, the Locust Valley golf course opened in 1954. Only minutes south of Allentown, east of Bethlehem and north of Quakertown, the course is easily accessible from the I-78 and just off Route 309. Reading is just 35 minutes to the west, the New Jersey border is just 15 minutes away and it only 45 minutes to Philadelphia or the Poconos. The new management in its effort to make Locust Valley one of the top public courses in the Lehigh Valley has hired Mark Johnson as the golf course superintendent. He will work hand in hand with long time employee Kurt Zellner and existing staff to continue bring back Locust Valley to it’s glory days.
