I grew up in Colorado and fell in love with the game of golf at the age of 12. My first job in golf was at City Park 9 working for Jim Greer and I began to hone my skills. When I was 15 I worked at the Fort Collins CC for Ray Bostich and by the age of 17 I was a 2 handicapper. After graduating from Poudre High School I attended CSU and played on the varsity Golf Team. I have over 30 years of teaching experience, and have taught over 8,000 golf lessons to Students of all abilities and skill levels. Whether you have never touched a golf club or you are a scratch golfer, I can help improve your game and also maximize your level of enjoyment on the golf course! I have taught fellow Golf Professionals, Scratch Amateurs, accomplished golfers, beginners, Women and over 400 Juniors the game of golf. I truly have a love for teaching golf and helping golfers to learn and improve their games. I want to inspire players to enjoy the game, practice and play golf at their highest potential. My enjoyment comes from seeing others succeed! I am also a certified club fitter for Ping, Mizuno, Titleist and Taylor Made and I’ll look forward to helping you with all your golfing needs!

Mountain Vista is one of the best nine hole tracks in Northern Colorado. I always feel at home when I show up and play, Matt always greets me by name when I see him, as far as I'm concerned this is the friendliest golf course in the area. Also, the course is always in surprisingly good condition given how affordable it is. Mountain Vista is a superb place to play for players of all skill level! Highly recommend!

Mountain Vista is the 9 hole gem of Northern Colorado. It's where I learned how to golf and I will never say no to playing there. The owners are the most sincere and nicest people around and is truly the biggest reason why the course is so successful. While there may be some better layouts around, the course conditions are incredible especially when you factor in how affordable it is to play there. The range is my favorite in town. Its long enough for the big hitters to hit driver and you never ever have to hit off mats! I've been doing a golf league there for 10 years and always participate in their match play tournament. While its only 9 holes, playing the whites on the front and the blues on the back makes it seem like you are playing a completely different course. Check this place out if you haven't already!

I absolutely love this golf course! As a beginner, I feel more comfortable at Mountain Vista than any other golf course that I've been to. The staff is very friendly and the overall atmosphere is very relaxed. The golf course is always in really nice condition as well, it's my favorite course to walk! I highly recommend playing here especially for beginners like me!
