Early in the 60’s local developer John R. Carpenter Sr., had a vision for private golf. A vision that today stands the test of time in the business of golf.
A long with his founding partners, Midland Trail Golf Club came to fruition in 1964. A design of noted course architect, Edward Lawrence Packard, the club garnered its name from the road for which it rests by today – Hwy US 60 or as it was originally called The Midland Trail.
“The Trail” as longtime family members call it, has stood the test of time. Our private membership enjoys the parkland links style course resting in the valley. A valley which from our comfortable clubhouse on the hill, is a true “million dollar view”.
