With a reputation as a formidable test, The Cardinal offers some of the most rewarding play in Greensboro. Its modern, 140-acre layout designed by Pete Dye is a par-70 that meanders along a countryside stream, over two lakes and through wooded glades. A number of holes feature Dye’s signature railroad ties including number 12, as he called it after the restoration, “the hardest par three I ever designed.”
