Tee It Up Perk

Morris Country Club & Nettle Creek

Not valid with any other offer!

Morris Country Club is a challenging 18 hole layout featuring narrow, tree lined fairways. Small greens put a premium on shot-making and short game skills. At just over 6,000 yards, the course is short enough to be playable, but has still brought some of the finest players to their knees.
Water hazards come into play on 13 of the 18 holes. In addition, carefully positioned bunkers make approach shots as important as positioning off the tee. With a par of 71, course rating of 69.6 and slope rating of 119, the course is a fun test due to the elevation changes and undulating greens.
The meticulously maintained blue grass fairways are a joy to play from as players almost never receive a poor or tight lie from a drive into scoring position. The greens are regarded as some of the finest in Chicagoland. Fast, true putting surfaces that hold a well struck shot keep our members shooting for the flags.

Nettle Creek

Nettle Creek has a terrific layout meandering through ponds, wetlands and prairie grasses. The course plays at over 6,500 from the tips, offering enough length for the long hitters, but ample risk/reward scenarios to test golfers of all abilities. The course was designed by Buzz Didier and opened in 1993, and has hosted many events for the Illinois PGA and the Chicago District Golf Association.
The links style layout is fun and sporty with wide bent grass fairways and large greens. Numerous bunkers surround the greens to keep players on their toes. Though the course winds through the lovely Nettle Creek subdivision, players definitely can enjoy the feeling of being one with nature. The superior playing conditions framed by the native grass areas make the course a unique design for its location in rural Morris. The beautiful prairie environment rich with wildlife and plentiful wildflowers and native grasses combine at Nettle Creek to create a remarkable golf experience.
