Ironwood Golf Course was built by Olon Andrews and opened for play in 1971. He also developed and created Ironwood Estates that borders the golf course on multiple sides. It has been family operated since its inception. The care and pride of ownership is evidenced by the outstanding condition of the course and facility. There have been some major additions and renovations to the Clubhouse.
This is Quinn Frank’s second year as head Golf Professional. He has been associated in some with Ironwood since he first worked and golfed here as a teen. Quinn has been active in the youth golf program and coached the Wauseon Jr High Boys & Girls Golf Team. There have also been some new additions to the Clubhouse and the snack bar. Keith Kuntz is Greens Superintendent and has been with Ironwood for over 40 years. He is a member of Northwestern Ohio Golf Course Superintendent’s Association and a 36 Year Class A Member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. Keith and his crew take great pride in keeping the course in excellent condition.

Very short course, but a unique layout. Good condition for a city course and nice people there, but price wise, it's not a deal by any means. You can get a fuller test of golf for less money in town.
