This excellent and impressive facility is located some 200 km east of Edmonton on Highway #13. From Wainwright proceed south on Highway #41 to #13, west 12 kilometres to Hughenden.
The Hughenden Golf Course has been in existence since 1915 and has undergone many improvements over the years. This friendly course is noted for its excellent grass greens and offers well groomed fairways with grass bunkers challenging golfers with a sometimes difficult lie. “It’s a fairly easy course to play if you stay out of trouble.”
The par 4, 410 yard, 3rd hole is rated as the number one handicap hole. The course features a driving range and practice green as well as a licensed concession. A unique feature of this course is that you must cross the provincial Highway twice.
