University Ridge got its name from the landscape features formed when the last remaining glaciers of the ice age retreated from central North America. The course sits upon a terminal moraine where the Wisconsin Glacier stopped, forming the backbone of the ridge that separates the land into rolling hills and valleys. The golf course itself spreads across the beautiful rolling hills and bowls that accentuate the grass-covered, moonscape that typifies the moraine characteristics and then it gently flows into the dense forests of Wisconsin’s Woodlands.
The golf course is the brightest star in the constellation of services provided by University Ridge. However, while University Ridge is one of the finest golf creations available in the Midwest, the club also offers all of the amenities you’d expect to find as a member at a private club with the service and professionalism that go along with it. Come experience the absolutely pure golf Left for us when the Wisconsin Glacier receded almost 2-million years ago!
