Golf Digest has recognized Paul as one of The Best Teachers in the country. He was twice honored by U.S. Kids Golf as a world-wide Top 50 Kids Coach. Paul is also level II certified by the Titleist Performance Institute, AimPoint and K-Motion and a Level III SuperSpeed Golf certified coach. He creates coaching programs for adult and junior students that combine remote and in person remote coaching or just remote coaching and uses the latest technology to obtain results for his clients. His junior clients have won at every level of junior golf including the U.S. Kids World Championships, qualifiers and multi-day events on the AJGA, Hurricane Junior Golf, IMG Junior Golf, IJGT, NJPGA Junior Tours. His adult coaching clients have lowered their handicaps by as many as 20 strokes in 29 months. Paul’s passion is to help every golfer he meets enjoy the game as much as possible. Paul learned to play on Chicago’s historic public Jackson Park Golf Course. Paul attended Colgate University and was co-captain of the golf team before playing professional golf. Paul competed for three years on the Golden Bear (now Gateway) tour and other mini-tours but an injury thwarted his quest to play on the PGA TOUR. He returned to school and earned a Law Degree from the University of Miami. Paul worked as a child protective services prosecutor for several years before returning to a career in golf. Paul uses his competitive experiences while coaching clients. In 2015, after returning to golf, he advanced to U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying with a score of 69 at Montammy Country Club in Alpine, New Jersey. He also led his pro am team to victory with 9 birdies at the 2015 Open Pro Am at Bedens Brook Club here in New Jersey. Paul qualified for the 2012 Metropolitan Open with a score of 68 and finished T-5th at the 2012 Bridgestone Premiere Pro-Am at Firestone Country Club, Akron, Ohio.
