Bishop Putters

Proudly made in the heart of North Carolina’s golf region, we have the opportunity to test our designs on some of the finest courses in the country.

Despite the appearance that our putters are style-driven, each of them has been milled with performance in mind. Design, originality, and beauty are a bonus to their performance.

Keith Bishop is the owner, designer, and fabricator of Bishop Putters.

Beautiful, handcrafted, custom putters and golf accessories made by a lifetime golfer who is passionate about the game. Veteran-owned, designed, and made.

A lifelong golfer, he will retire from the US Army in early 2022. Keith inherited from his father his love of golf and fabrication at an early age, who both taught him to play and build. He began playing golf at the age of 12, and as so many golfers will understand, a love for the sport was born. Through high school, Keith played competitive golf and qualified for state tournaments in both New Jersey and Vermont.

After years of rebuilding cars and motorcycles, an opportunity arrived to design and create something entirely his own. Bishop Putters began as a result of frustration with the assembly line manufactured putter and the realization that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all when it comes to golf. Having had spent years trying to find the perfect putter, he decided to make one of his own. Immediately noticing the difference in the feel and play of a milled putter, he hasn’t looked back. In response to encouragement from friends, family, and even strangers on the course who played with the prototype putter, Bishop Putters was born.

In his previous career, Keith spent the last 28 years in active duty service for the U.S. Army. Retired as a Command Sergeant Major, officially March 2022.
