MKM Photography are husband and wife, wedding and portrait photographers, all-purpose nerds, extremely enthusiastic. Kate and Mike have been together since 2003 (through six years living in separate states, Mike’s eight years of Navy service, and three deployments–ugh!) and have been married since 2010. As a former bride, Kate knows how tricky planning a wedding can be, but she firmly believes that you can (and should!) do it in whatever timeline and within whatever budget you want. Kate has her BA and an MFA, and considers herself an eternal student. Mike has his BS and and an MBA from Duke. They are from the Lehigh Valley area of PA, and have lived in Pittsburgh, PA; Saratoga Springs, NY; Charleston, SC; and Norfolk, VA; They are, however. very happy to call Durham, NC home, where they live with their sweet baby boy and two slightly crazy dogs.
