The Magnolia Inn is located in the heart of historic Pinehurst, in the Sandhills area of North Carolina. Built in 1896, this Southern gem sits amidst longleaf pines and magnolia trees just steps away from a variety of shops and galleries.
Pinehurst is a golfer’s paradise. The Magnolia Inn is only minutes away from many challenging courses, perfect for golfers of all skill levels. Golfers can choose between one of Pinehurst Resort’s nine golf courses, including the famed Pinehurst #2 course, or from one of more than 30+ other courses in the Pinehurst area.
You can also spend the day strolling the quaint streets of Pinehurst and nearby Southern Pines exploring the shops or take a walking tour to see the 100+ year-old homes that are nestled amongst the pines. You will find the Sandhills area filled with southern charm, history and hospitality.
The Inn’s fine dining restaurant, Villaggio Ristorante, is a local favorite featuring fresh pasta, Italian specialties, steaks, chops and fish, a top shelf wine list, and crafted cocktails. The bar has 3 TVs for sports, and there is a large outdoor patio for dining and weekend music.
Each of the Magnolia’s 10 charming and comfortable guest rooms offers a private bath and cable TV. As a small 10-room historic Inn, we do not have 24-hour staff. A welcome letter with important information and your room key awaits your arrival. There are no refrigerators or safes in rooms. Please consider this charming Inn your “home away from home.”
The following rooms are located on the second floor (one flight of stairs): Page, Olmsted, Carolina, Upjohn and Hale. On the third floor, you’ll find the Dogwood, Azalea, Holly, Cedar and Razook rooms. Second and third floor rooms are accessible via staircase only. Complimentary Continental breakfast and free high-speed internet access are also available.
