She worked for the Wake County Public School System for 8 years where she gained extensive experience in pediatric testing of ages 6 months to 18 years, educational impact of hearing loss, classroom management for children with hearing loss, aural rehabilitation, hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and central auditory processing.
