About this Show

I review everything golf.  You will see clubs, gadgets, training aids, clothing, fitness gear....TONS of stuff!

SELFIE GOLF is a company full of ambition specializing in innovative golf accessories with the purpose of improving and perfecting golf swings.

I reviewed the SelfieGolf phone clip and the Selfie Spinner 6-in-1 golf tool for this article. I also did a review video on my YouTube Channel.

The phone clip is a device that clips on to an alignment stick, dowel, or your golf bag and allows you to achieve the perfect angle to get a hands-free video of your golf swing. Many players have trouble getting a good swing video for a proper swing analysis and this clip solves the problem immediately.

The 6-in-1 spinner tool gives you tons of options and is extremely versatile on the course, helping to make your round more efficient and enjoyable.

What I found while testing the phone clip is that it has a strong spring inside of the clip to maximize the grip on your phone and it also comes in several different colors so you can match it to your own style if you choose. The thing I like most about it is that you can adjust it to any height you like to achieve that perfect angle whether you are a tall or short person. The ideal height for a swing video is at hand height during the swing so it works perfectly for every golfer.

The other great feature is that it includes a bag clip so that you can attach it to your golf bag if you are hitting off any surface other than grass. It clips right onto your bag and you clip the alignment stick right onto the included clip for stability. Awesome feature.

The Selfie Spinner is a fun little gadget that provides several useful tools for you while you are on the course. 6 total functions are included with each spinner.

Decision Spinner
Divot Repair Tool
Club Prop
Angle Measure
Ball Liner
Fidget Spinner

Honestly, I have no idea why I would ever need an angle measure like that while I’m playing golf, but it is there nonetheless. I love the divot tool and club prop being the same device. I never realized the convenience of having a club prop before and now I’m glad I have one in my pocket at all times. The thing I had to get used to was the lightweight feel of the spinner when used as a divot tool. It takes some adjustment, but not a big deal for me. One of the funnier things for me is the decision spinner. If I want to leave my shot selection up to fate, I have a tool in my pocket that allows me a fun way to choose whether or not to go for it or lay up.

Both the phone clip and spinner turned out to be useful for me and in the end I put them both in my bag where I intend to keep them for a long time to come. I find the spinner a little more gimmicky than a true purist’s tool, but I like to have a good time on the course so I like having it around to keep things light and interesting.
