Tommy Biershenk and Anthony Anders went into their golf partnership in fall of 2015 through a mutual love of golf and joy of creating recreational venues for all to enjoy. Through this passion, they worked hard to bring the Members and Guests of Legacy Pines Golf Club in Greenville, SC a place that they can affordably enjoy, call home and get away from the daily stresses of life. Anyone who has played Legacy Pines Golf Club since the fall of 2015 will be sure to tell how much they currently enjoy their time at Legacy Pines.
Through their hard work, Tommy and Anthony have given many the gift of affordable golf in the Greenville, SC area and are now continuing this plan in the Pickens, SC area with The Rock Golf Club & Resort, formerly known as The Rock at Jocassee. Tommy and Anthony purchased The Rock Golf Club & Resort in May of 2017 and immediately started in on this new project. They started by installing TifEagle bermuda greens, doing much-needed irrigation and bunker work as well as a renovation of the interior of The Rock Restaurant & Bar.
The vision of Legacy Pines Golf Club and The Rock Golf Club & Resort continues on through the non-profit that Tommy Biershenk has established working to grow junior golf with underprivileged children in the Upstate and also through Anthony Anders’ plans of having horseback riding tours to the waterfalls at The Rock as well as a wedding venue for many to enjoy for years to come.
