Instructor
Marcus Gillmor, PGA

My name is Marcus Gillmor and I turned professional in 2016 after competing in the amateur ranks for little over 6 years. While gaining my knowledge and expertise through Coastal Carolina University professional golf management program, I wanted to grow the game of golf to everyone seeking the same passion as I did. While being taught under several highly talented teaching professionals, I built my teaching style to give everyone the best possible way to improve and enjoy the game at the same time. To achieve this, I have four teaching philosophies that I install in all lessons: 1.     Simplicity – Keep the lessons simple so it’s easy for my students to learn and improve. 2.     Individuality – Each swing is like a thumb print; they are all unique in their own way. I take what is comfortable for you, what you have currently done, and make that better. 3.     Statically and visual information – With the use of technology, I will show you why your swing is doing what it is and how to improve on it. Using this information makes your practice sessions easier to understand. 4.     Practice Drills – The way to get better is completing practice drills so that your swing will become more natural in what I’m teaching. My key to success: If you are passionate about getting better, the more practice and dedication you give, the faster the results will come.

Great course, conditions are always great. Greens were rolling quick. Pins were not too hard but they can get in some tough positions. 5/5
