2018 25th anniversary of the Duvenhof Golf Club with a big anniversary celebration 1985 On August 7, 1985, Hans Könen, the founder of the golf club, applied to the Willich building authority for the construction of a 9-hole golf course. 1993 In March the application for the construction of a golf practice facility is submitted to the Willich building authority, which is approved in July of the same year. In July, the golf club is entered in the club register at the Krefeld district court. 1994 A long lease contract is signed on July 14th with the Heesen family, the owners of the Duvenhof, an old manor building from the 19th century. 1995 In January the golf club concludes a license agreement with Golfsport Willich GmbH Co. KG for 9-hole play. The first fairway will open on July 8th. 1996 In March, the building application is submitted to the Willich building authority for an extension to an 18-hole course, which is approved on June 18. 1997 On August 11th, the golf club signs a license agreement with the operating company for the 18-hole course. 1998 The golf club takes over the remaining 9 holes from the operating company. 2000 Club and KG move into new premises (administration building with pro shop). 2007 On May 4th, the golf club exchanges two fairways with the operating company: holes 3 and 4.
