18-hole course, par 72, nicknamed “the Scottish”, the Mohammedia golf course is a real link always under the prevailing winds. Undulating fairways and small greens characterize it. Sometimes by the sea, sometimes in the forest, greenery is omnipresent: eucalyptus, mimosa broom and palm trees. The golf course is equipped with a club house, restaurant and annex practice
The Mohammedia course is known by all golfers in Morocco to be a haven of peace for Moroccan golf. Its idyllic setting has hosted over the past three years nearly eighty competitions, including the most prestigious initiated by the Royal Marcoaine Golf Federation FRMG (Mena tour on several occasions, Throne Cup, Interclub, Women’s Day, Grand Prix …) and the Hassan II ATH Trophy Association (EPD Tour, Lalla Aicha laidies European Tour School more than once, Pro Golf Tour, Atlas Pro Tour…). The tournaments of our sponsors and partners (Mercedes, Audi, Shell, Rotary, Smeia, BMW, etc.) have also aroused the enthusiasm of many golfers, not to mention the multiple ones organized by the RGAM (Monthly medal, Women’s Trophy, Championship Club, Golf School, Green Walk, Women’s Day, Valentine’s Day).
Particular attention has been paid to the upgrading of the course, through significant investments, even if not visible, making it possible to ensure a total recovery of the sprinkling system, giving the site today an autonomy thanks to increasing the capacity of the OSMOSE station. The regularly posted annual reports of the international Greenkeeper George Stillwell, note the very good quality of the course and the evolution of the improvements made each year.
Of course, additional efforts must continue to be made to keep all the particular cachet and charm of the Mohammedia site.
