Nick serves as the Director of Instruction for SMART Golf & Fitness Instruction in Chicago, Illinois. SMART Golf & Fitness Instruction is an indoor golf and fitness club that features 7 Trackman Simulators, Indoor Putting Green with PuttView, SAM PuttLab, State-of-the-Art Gym, Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms, and a Fully Stocked Pro Shop.
In 2017, Nick was named the Illinois PGA Assistant Professional of the Year, and has twice been named an Honorable Mention Top 50 Kids Teacher by U.S. Kids Golf.
Over the course of his career, Nick has dedicated himself to continually learning about the golf swing, biomechanics, motor learning, and coaching. He has been fortunate enough to hone his craft while teaching thousands of golf lessons at two of the most prestigious clubs in the Chicago area, Exmoor Country Club and Indian Hill Club. His expertise on coaching golf has been featured on 670 The Score and in the Daily Herald.
Nick holds a BA in Economics from Illinois Wesleyan University, where he was a member of the men’s golf team that qualified for two Division III National Championships. He is Titleist Performance Institute Certified and Trackman Level 2 Certified, and a recipient of a certification in the Biomechanics of Golf from Penn State University.
Outside of teaching the game of golf, Nick serves as a member of the Illinois PGA Board of Directors.
