Architect Jack Kidwell, past president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, recipient of numerous awards and designer of more than one hundred golf courses has often stated “Hickory Hills is located on the best piece of land that I have ever been given to design and build a golf course.” Hickory Hills follows the natural contours of the land, up, down, left and right. You will often play every club in your bag on this scenic, mentally challenging and never ending fun place to play a round of golf. Hickory Hills is often called “A Golf Club for Golfers.”
The course has five sets of tees from which to choose. The better player often plays from the back tees, the average player from the middle tees, and there are several sets of forward tees for older players, ladies, youngsters, and those new to the game.
A ten acre long-game practice facility with furnished balls and six target greens, a short-game chipping green and a large undulating putting green are available at no cost for Hickory Hills members and guests.
A teaching tee with our two PGA Golf Professionals is also available for private lessons.
The irrigation heads located in the turf on both sides of the fairways will give you the yardage to the center of each green.
