The 18-hole course at the Lenoir Golf Club facility in Lenoir, North Carolina features 6,385 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 71.3 and it has a slope rating of 125 on Bermuda grass. Lenoir golf course was opened in 1928 as a nine hole course, redesigned by Donald Ross in 1945 and expanded to 18 holes in 1961.
Our greens are bentgrass and are generally small which require good shotmaking on the approaches. Chipping skills are at a premium around the greens. Two creeks meander through the property giving the golfer multiple opportunities to test their games against water hazard shots.
