Built in 1922, Leewood Golf Club provides golfers with a unique 18-hole experience on 99 acres of pristine lower Westchester County property.
Known for its tight driving areas, fast greens and hilly terrain, Leewood is a shot maker’s course but provides a fun and challenging experience for all skill levels. The course was designed by Devereaux Emmet whose other course designs include Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD, Garden City Country Club, the original course at Fenway Country Club in Scarsdale, NY and many others.
In 2011, Leewood Golf Club undertook an extensive renovation to put in state of the art irrigation, new green complexes, and several new tee boxes. With one of the signature vistas on the course, the 9th hole is one of the most challenging in Westchester County. This wonderful course never bores, offering a new perspective with each round.
