Old Overton Club is located in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. We are an invitation – only private golf club, which opened in 1993. The course was designed by professional golfer Jerry Pate and Tom Fazio. Golf Digest rated Old Overton Club as one of the Best New Private Courses in 1994, and they currently have us as one of the five best private clubs in Alabama. Old Overton Club has played host to a number of tournaments including, the Annual Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate Tournament.
Old Overton Club’s golf course was shaped from terrain to be the great golf course it is today. The mission of the developers and designers was to build a course that would transcend and scope its surrounding residential development to become a world class golf club. They have succeeded. Everything necessary to make this club one of the best in the world is in place.
