Measuring at only 5400 yards, the course is not only the length you would find in those of yesteryear, but the winding, wooded layout conveys a charm that is seldom seen in the modern designs of today. The Middle San Gabriel River runs majestically throughout the course, while boulderous cliffs and hillsides help to guard the property from the clutches of suburbia. The seclusion that the course provides appeals not only to golfers, however. Wildlife flourishes here, and it’s often not easy to focus on golf with so many of nature’s sights on display.
